WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON A SUNDAY?
Welcome to Arise Kids at Arise Church Denver! We provide a safe and fun space for your child to grow in faith. On a Sunday you will find rooms for kids from birth to 5th grade with trained, background checked volunteers ready to have fun. In the room your kids will experience engaging activities and lessons for spiritual growth, and ways to just be a kid and have fun. Join us this Sunday for a joyful, faith-filled experience!
EARLY CHILDHOOD
Birth to 3 years old. We have a Baby room for kids from birth until they are walking, then they get moved up to our toddler room where they have short age appropriate lesson, snack and plenty of play time. They are in this room until turning 3 years old.
PRESCHOOL
3 years old until Kindergarten. In this rooms kids are welcomed in with playtime and then setup up for worship, a lesson and an activity and small group at the end to talk about and experience hands on learning from what they were taught.
ELEMENTARY
K-1ST, 2ND-3RD, AND 4TH-5TH. We currently have 3 classrooms to divide up kids in our elementary space at Arise. Kindergarteners through 1st graders are together with a little more play time before their lesson, then 2nd and 3rd graders are all together with a curriculum a bit more focused on the small groups at the end, with more in depth questions and discussion, and lastly the 4th through 5th graders are altogether in a a room that is meant to prepare them for student ministry and graduating from our kids spaces, so less play time, and more time focused on conversations with each other about what they are learning. We utilize 252 from Orange for this age group and specifically adapt it for our rooms and ministry to make it congruent with Arise as a whole and thier age group specifically.
