Arise Church Denver believes in actively contributing to our local community. We desire to give back and help where needed because following Jesus means being a good neighbor. Each month, our church engages in some aspect of local outreach.

Prison Fellowship Angel Tree
Help us prepare for our Christmas project providing gifts to children of people who are incarcerated. Katie will reach out to tell you more about it and help you get plugged in.
Serve Dinner at The Crossing - Denver Rescue Mission
We have an ongoing support partnership with Denver Rescue Mission through regular monthly giving, as well as three opportunities a month to serve dinner at The Crossing. Our team serves dinner on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays each month!
Refugee Family Mentoring
Denver Rescue Mission is now working with Lutheran Refugee Services to help place and acclimate a number of refugee families from Afghanistan. Our church expects to be assigned our second refugee family in January. If you would like to be part of our refugee team it will be necessary to complete an application and background check through Denver Rescue Mission ASAP. 1:1 Mentoring - Denver Rescue Mission
Serving as a mentor to a resident of The Crossing at Denver Rescue Mission is an opportunity to create a one-on-one direct relationship with an individual who is currently without their own housing. Some of these residents have issues with substance abuse and mental health. Many are also alienated from their friends and families. Serving as a mentor is a beautiful way to share the love of Christ with people who need to be seen and heard. It is a joy and privilege to be a part of someone's new beginning.
Ashley Elementary Partnership
Arise Church Denver has had an ongoing partnership with Ashley Elementary. We serve at events like the Turkey Trot, first raising money to purchase turkeys, then helping to pass them out at their race the week before Thanksgiving. We have also been a part of upgrading their teacher’s lounge, providing Christmas gifts for families, helping to keep their closets stocked with school and play clothes for kids in need, and helping to meet the emergency needs of families from the school.
